X175 - One Cooling Fan Inoperative, Check Ground Circuit

Key "OFF".

Disconnect inoperative cooling fan.

Measure resistance between the ground pin at the inoperative cooling fan vehicle harness connector and the battery negative post.

Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms? Yes -- Go to X176.
X176 - Check Power-to-Fan Continuity Between Both Fans No -- Service open ground circuit. Reconnect cooling fan. Re-evaluate symptom.
