Camshaft Position Sensor

CAUTION: Syncro Positioning Tool T89T-12200-A (303-358) must be obtained prior to installation of the replacement synchronizer assembly. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the fuel system being out of time with the engine, possibly causing engine damage.





Removal
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect camshaft sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove camshaft sensor mounting screws and remove sensor.

Installation
1. Install camshaft sensor and mounting screws. Tighten screws to 2.5-3.5 Nm (22-31 lb-in).
2. Connect sensor electrical connector.
3. Connect negative battery cable.
