Defroster Register

Windshield Defroster Hose Nozzle

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the upper trim panel and the instrument panel.

2. Remove the brake pedal support bracket.

3. Remove heater air plenum chamber as described under Removal and Installation, Air Plenum Chamber and Duct.

4. Remove four screws attaching windshield defroster hose nozzle under side of dash/cowl top flange.

5. Rotate the windshield defroster hose nozzle rearward, clearing the dash/cowl top flange tabs, and lift the windshield defroster hose nozzle out.









6. For installation, follow removal procedures in reverse order.


Demister and Demister Ducts

Removal

The demister ducts are integral with the register ducts. Refer to Outlet Floor Duct under Removal and Installation.
