EGR Backpressure Transducer: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect engine control sensor wiring from Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) backpressure transducer.

Backpressure Transducer:

3. Disconnect EGR backpressure transducer sensor hoses from the transducer.
4. Remove retaining screws and transducer from bracket located on dash panel.
5. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten EGR transducer retaining screws securely.
