Blower Motor: Service and Repair

1. Working from inside of the vehicle, remove the push pins and upper footwell trim panel from the passenger side.
2. Disconnect the blower motor wire harness electrical connector.

3. Carefully lift the retaining lug on the A/C blower motor flange, and rotate the blower motor counterclockwise approximately 30° to disengage it from A/C evaporator housing.
4. Pull the blower motor out of the A/C evaporator housing.
5. Reverse procedure to install. After inserting blower motor into A/C evaporator housing, turn clockwise until retaining lug engages.
