Drive Chain: Service and Repair
DISASSEMBLEReverse/Overdrive Ring Gear Bearing Removal:
1. Use slide hammer tool No. T50T-100-A, input shaft bearing remover tool No. T91T-7127-A and bearing cup remover tool No. T87P-7120-D or equivalents to remove reverse/overdrive ring gear bearing assembly.
Stator Support Bearing Removal:
2. Use bearing cup remover tool No. T87P-7120-D and impact slide hammer tool No. T50T-100-A or equivalents to remove stator support bearing assembly.
ASSEMBLE
1. Position reverse/overdrive ring gear bearing assembly on bearing replacer tool No. T94P-77000-K or equivalent, then couple replacer tool with driver handle tool No. T80T-4000-W or equivalent.
Reverse Overdrive Ring Gear And Stator Support Bearing Installation:
2. Install ring gear bearing assembly as shown in the Reverse Overdrive Ring Gear And Stator Support Bearing Installation image, then position stator support bearing on bearing replacer tool No. T94P-7700O-K or equivalent.
3. Couple replacer tool with driver handle tool No. T80T-4000-W or equivalent, then install stator support bearing as shown in the Reverse Overdrive Ring Gear And Stator Support Bearing Installation image.
