Shift Cable: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove center underbody heat shield retaining nuts.
3. Remove front underbody heat shield retaining nuts.
4. Disconnect shift cable and bracket from transaxle range selector lever stud.
5. Pull transaxle shift cable and bracket plastic snap retainer from bracket.
6. Lower vehicle, then disconnect shift cable and bracket from manual control lever stud on transaxle.
7. Remove two bolts attaching shift cable and bracket to transaxle case.
8. Remove shift cable and bracket by guiding out through engine compartment

INSTALLATION
1. Reverse procedure to install.
