Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation 1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Disconnect air and vacuum hoses from diverter or air switching valves.
3.
Remove air switching valve (combination switch/relief valve) from air pump (if equipped).
4.
Loosen air pump pivot and adjusting bolts. Remove drive belt.
5.
Remove air pump bolts, pulley and air pump from vehicle.
6.
Reverse procedure to install.
