Power Steering Pressure Switch: Description and Operation
Power Steering Pressure (PSP) Switch:
The Power Steering Pressure
(PSP) switch signals the Powertrain Control Module
(PCM) whenever power steering pressure loads the power steering pump enough to significantly lower engine idle speed. The PCM is then able to compensate by raising idle speed.
