Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve:

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve electrical connector from the fuel charging wiring.
2. Remove the two IAC valve bolts.
3. Remove the IAC valve and gasket.

NOTE: The IAC valve has a sludge resistant design and cannot be cleaned.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Tighten IAC valve bolts to 9-11 Nm (80-97 lb in).
