Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Remove the three muffler-to-converter bolts and three nuts.
2. Support rear converter unit with suitable jackstand and remove four exhaust inlet pipe nuts (two each side) and two bolts (two each side).
3. Remove rear dual catalytic converter gasket (two each side) and rear dual catalytic converter outlet gasket and discard.
4. Remove rear Three Way Catalytic (TWC) converter(s).

INSTALLATION
1. Position rear TWC and support with suitable support jackstand.
2. Install two forward exhaust converter outlet gaskets and rear exhaust converter outlet gasket.
3. Install three muffler-to-converter bolts and three nuts, but do not tighten.
4. Install four exhaust inlet pipe nuts (two each side) and four bolts (two each side), but do not tighten.
5. Tighten bolts to 34-46 Nm (25-34 lb ft).
