Certain 1996-1997 Model Year Explorer/Mountaineer vehicles equipped with 5.0L engine produced at St. Louis assembly plant from 2/2/96 through 2/17/97 and at Louisville Assembly Plant from 2/12/96 through 2/17/97

1. Inspect right-hand valve cover for engine code(s). See Figure 1.

^ Install Kit CC for engine codes: TK352AA, TK354BA, TK352AB, TK354BB, HK352AA, HK354AA.

^ Install Kit DD for engine codes: HG352AA, HG354AA.
