Wiper and Washer Systems: Description and Operation

These windshield wipers are actuated by a permanent magnet, rotary type electric motor. The two wiper arms and blades are mounted on a pivot shaft, one at each side of windshield. The pivot shafts are connected to the motor by linkage arms and attaching clip.

The front electric windshield washer system consists of a control switch, integral with the turn signal, a windshield washer reservoir, a windshield wiper motor, a windshield washer nozzle jet and brackets and the necessary windshield washer hoses.
