This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) sensor
- Harness circuits: TFT SIG and Signal Return (SIG RTN)
- Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

NOTE: Voltage values are calculated for Reference Voltage (VREF) = 5.0 volts. The values may vary 15 percent due to sensor and VREF variations. Transmission fluid temperature must be a minimum of 10°C (50°F) before taking TFT sensor resistance measurements.

DTC DESCRIPTION
0712 = TFT sensor circuit low input.
0713 = TFT sensor circuit high input.
1711 = TFT sensor out of self test range.
