Wiper Motor: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect battery.
2. Disconnect wiper linkage from motor.
3. Disconnect electrical connector from motor.

Wiper Motor Current Draw Test:

4. Using Rotunda Battery and Starter Tester 010-00725 or equivalent, make test connections as shown.
5. Connect green lead tester to battery positive. Connect a jumper wire from pin four of wiper motor to battery ground terminal.
6. Connect positive lead from tester to pin five or pin six of wiper motor. Current draw at either terminal should not exceed 3 amps.
