EGR Control Solenoid: Service and Repair
EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) VENT SOLENOID 1.
Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Raise and support the vehicle.
EGR Vent Solenoid:

Disconnect the three vacuum hoses.
4.
Disconnect the EGR vent solenoid electrical connector.
5.
Slide the EGR vent solenoid off the mounting bracket.
6.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
