Required Tools and Equipment

The following Rotunda(r) tools and Special Service Tools (SSTs) are common tools used throughout the Pinpoint Tests and other testing. The common tools are called out using generic terminology, but the following tools (or equivalents) should be used.





Use the Rotunda(r) 73 Digital Multimeter 105-R0051, or equivalent, to perform all electrical pinpoint test steps unless another tool is specifically referenced.

Breakout Box:

Use the Rotunda(r) 104-Pin Breakout Box 014-00950, or equivalent, whenever you are instructed to install a breakout box.

Breakout Box Adapter:

Whenever a breakout box is installed, a breakout box adapter T96P-12A650-C must also be used.





Use the Rotunda(r) New Generation STAR (NGS) Tester 007-00500 or equivalent whenever a scan tool is required.

Vacuum Pump:

Rotunda(r) Vacuum Tester 014-R1054 or equivalent (Range 0-30 in Hg).

EFI Pressure Gauge:

Multiport Fuel Injection Pressure Gauge (MFI/TBI Fuel) Pressure Gauge, T8OL-9974-B, or equivalent.

Spark Tester:

Spark Tester, D81P-6666-A or equivalent.





Rotunda(r) Timing Analyzer 164-R0257, or equivalent.

Fuel Injector Tester/Cleaner:

Rotunda(r) 113-00015 Fuel Injector Tester/Cleaner.
