EGR Tube: Service and Repair

EGR Valve And Tube:

REMOVAL and INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect EGR backpressure transducer hoses from EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube.
2. Disconnect EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube at EGR valve and EGR valve tube to manifold connector.
3. Remove EGR valve tube to manifold connector from RH exhaust manifold if required.
4. To install, reverse Removal procedures.
- Tighten EGR valve-to-exhaust manifold tube connector to 30-40 Nm (23-29 lb ft).
- Tighten EGR valve tube to manifold connector to exhaust manifold to 35-65 Nm (26-48 lb ft).
