Door Lock Switch






1. Use an ohmmeter or a self-powered test lamp to test the front door lock switch (14017).

2. With the door lock switch in the neutral position, there should becontinuity between Terminals 5 and 7 and Terminals 2 and 3. Terminal 6should be disconnected from all other terminals.

3. When the raised portion of front door lock switch is pressed (L), there should be continuity between Terminals 5 and 6 and Terminals 2 and 3. Terminal 7 is disconnected from all other terminals.

4. When the depressed portion of the front door lock switch is pressed (U), there should be continuity between Terminals 3 and 6 and Terminals 5and 7. Terminal 2 should be disconnected from all other terminals.

5. If the front door lock switch does not test as stated, replace the front door lock switch.
