Valve Clearance: Adjustments

Hydraulic valve lifters are used in this engine. No adjustment is required. If any valve train component is replaced or if valve train components become intermixed, valve clearance will have to be inspected on those valves.
1. Using a suitable pry bar, apply pressure to the push rod side of the rocker arm until hydraulic lifter has bled down and bottomed out.
2. Ensure clearance between valve stem and rocker arm is 0.085 and 0.185 in.
