Lower

1. Remove upper intake manifold.
2. Disconnect fuel injection supply and return lines from supply manifold.
3. 3Disconnect intake manifold runner control deactivation cable.
4. Remove deactivation cable from bracket, then position aside.
5. Disconnect engine control sensor wiring from injectors and wiring retainers, then move wiring out of the way.
6. Remove supply manifold and injectors from lower intake manifold.
7. Remove manifold to cylinder head bolts in an alternating sequence, then remove manifold.
8. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Ensure intake manifold runner control plate operates properly.
b. Tighten lower manifold retaining bolts in an alternating sequence to 14-20 ft lb.
