Control Assembly: Description and Operation

CLIMATE CONTROL ASSEMBLY
The following systems were put into a single integrated control panel:
^ An AM/FM stereo radio.
^ A clock.
^ A rear window defroster switch.
^ The Climate climate controls.
^ An optional full-logic cassette.

The climate control assembly has three control knobs:
^ The air flow control or function selector knob, attached to the A/C damper door switch, controls the vacuum and the electrical applications.
^ The temperature control knob, attached to the potentiometer, controls the position of the A/C electronic door actuator motor mounted on the A/C evaporator housing.
^ The blower motor control knob, attached to the heater blower motor switch, provides four speeds of blower motor operation.
