Rear

Remove the rear brake shoe and lining and inspect for wear or damage. Check for looseness of the lining material on the backing plate. Check that the spring clips are secure. Replace brake shoe and lining as necessary. Replace in full axle sets only. Do not Replace on only one side of the vehicle. Minimum usable lining thickness is 3.12 mm (0.125 inch).

Replace any rear brake shoe and lining that has been contaminated with oil, grease or brake fluid. Inspect for and correct any source of contamination.
