Brake Pad: Testing and Inspection
1.
Inspect
brake pads for excessive wear. If lining is worn to within
3 mm (0.125 inch) of the shoe, replace all four pad assemblies (complete set).
2.
Replace any
brake pads that have been contaminated with oil, grease, or
brake fluid with a complete axle set. Inspect for and correct the source of the contamination.
