Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.
Manuals through 2025 now available!

Our trusted friends have launched a new website named LEMON, which has newer manuals. It also contains all the CHARM manuals.

LEMON is the spiritual successor to CHARM, I recommend you try it!

Front

Front disc brakes have the following features:
^ The front disc brakes have pin slider-type bolt on anchor bracket caliper assemblies with 276 mm (10.9 inch) full cast composite front disc brake rotors.
^ The disc brake caliper has a steel caliper piston with a piston seal and a press-in type dust boot.
^ The disc brake caliper is attached to the front suspension front wheel spindle with two M14 bolts.
^ The disc brake caliper is mounted to two slide pins which, once lubricated and assembled in the front disc brake caliper anchor plate, provide "sealed for life" performance.

WARNING: BRAKE FLUID CONTAINS POLYGLYCOL ETHERS AND POLYGLYCOLS. AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES. WASH HANDS THOROUGHLY AFTER HANDLING. IF BRAKE FLUID CONTACTS EYES, FLUSH EYES WITH RUNNING WATER FOR 15 MINUTES. GET MEDICAL ATTENTION IF IRRITATION PERSISTS. IF TAKEN INTERNALLY, DRINK WATER AND INDUCE VOMITING. GET MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY.

NOTE:
Brake friction materials inherently generate noise and heat in order to dissipate energy. As a result, occasional squeal is possible, which may be aggravated by severe environmental conditions such as cold, heat, rain, snow, salt and mud.
