FRONT SUSPENSION LOWER MOUNTING BOLT

REMOVAL

CAUTION: Before starting this procedure, make sure that new replacement fasteners are available.

1. Remove front suspension lower arm.

2. Using Receiver Cup T86P-5493-A3 and Bushing Driver T86P-5493-A2 from Lower Control Arm Bushing Service Set T86P-5493-A, and C-Frame and Clamp Assembly T74P-3044-A 1, remove old front suspension lower arm mounting bolt bushing from front suspension lower arm.

NOTE: C-frame and clamp assembly must be held tight in a bench vise.

INSTALLATION

NOTE: Make sure that the front suspension lower arm mounting bolt bushing flange is at front of the front suspension lower arm.





1. Using Driver Replacer T86P-5493-A4 from Lower Control Arm Bushing Service Set T86P-5493-A, and C-Frame and Clamp Assembly T74P-3044-A 1, install new front suspension lower arm mounting bolt bushing in front suspension lower arm by tightening C-clamp slowly until the tool bottoms on front suspension lower arm. Tool sets the front suspension lower arm mounting bolt bushing to correct installation depth.
2. Install front suspension lower arm.
