Rear

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Lift up cap on the windshield wiper pivot arm to expose nut that retains arm to pivot shaft.
3. Loosen nut retaining windshield wiper pivot arm to pivot shaft approximately two turns.
4. Using pliers, squeeze head of pivot arm and nut until pivot arm head pops off shaft.
5. Remove nut and windshield wiper pivot arm.

CAUTION: Do not manually rotate windshield wiper pivot arm to prevent damage to windshield wiper motor.

6. Install windshield wiper pivot arm assembly, and adjust as necessary. Adjustments
7. Install nut and tighten to 12-15 Nm (106-132 lb-in). Close and snap on nut cap.
8. Reconnect battery ground cable.
