Electronic Door Lock Control Processor

The electronic door lock control processor is located behind the glove compartment.

The electronic door lock control processor:
^ Contains a radio receiver that receives a signal from the keyless entry remote transmitter through the electronic door lock control processor antenna.
^ Sends the appropriate command to the power door lock actuators, the horn relay, the luggage compartment door lock solenoid, central timer module, or the indicator flasher.
^ Is equipped with a battery backup which holds the programmed transmitter ID in memory in the event the vehicle battery is disconnected.
