Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair






REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove upper fuel tank rack assembly.
3. Remove vent box from upper fuel tank rack assembly.
4. Disconnect wiring harness connectors from fuel tank temperature sensor.
5. Using a back-up wrench to prevent fuel line fittings from turning, remove fuel pressure sensor from fuel line fittings.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Replace fuel pressure sensor O-rings. Apply light coating of engine oil meeting Ford specification ESE-M2C153-E to sensor O-rings. Thread fuel pressure sensor in by hand.
3. Tighten sensor to 47.63 N.m (35-46 Lb-Ft).
