Spark Plug: Service and Repair

REMOVAL and INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect ignition wires from spark plugs as described.
2. Loosen spark plugs 1/4 turn and remove any dirt or foreign material from spark plug areas of cylinder heads with compressed air.
3. Remove spark plugs.
4. Inspect and, if necessary, replace spark plugs. Check and adjust spark plug gap as required.
5. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten spark plugs to 9-20 Nm (7-15 lb ft).
