Power Door Lock Switch: Testing and Inspection

Testing should be performed with the window regulator control switch removed from the vehicle. Use an ohmmeter.
1. Activate door lock switch to unlock. Resistance between Terminals 7 and 5 should be less than 5 ohms.
2. Activate door lock switch to lock. Resistance between Terminals 5 and 3 should be less than 5 ohms.
3. If any switch does not test as stated, replace the complete switch assembly.
