Test Notes

CAUTION: Do not replace parts unless test results say they should be replaced.

NOTE: Keep the driver window rolled down during the Pinpoint Tests, to avoid being locked out of the vehicle.

Check that the battery is fully charged (if not, it may be causing the concern).

Disconnect and reconnect the battery to reset the system.

To test and service the electronic door lock control system:
^ review the Symptom Chart.
^ perform the pinpoint tests as specified by the Symptom Chart.
^ repair only as specified in the tests.
^ review the Symptom Chart once more to make sure the system is operational.
