Audible Warning Device Control Module: Description and Operation

OPERATION
The warning Chime/buzzer module produces a repetitive chime or steady buzzing sound, for either a predetermined amount of time or continuously, under the following conditions.

- The driver's safety belt is unbuckled and the key is in RUN.
- The key is in the ignition switch lock cylinder and the driver door is opened.
- The headlamp switch is in HEAD or PARK, the driver door is opened and the key is not in the ignition switch lock cylinder.
