Ignition Cable: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

NOTE: Whenever an ignition wire is reinstalled or replaced with a new one, apply silicone brake caliper grease and dielectric compound to the interior surface of the ignition wire boot.

Spark Plug Wire Remover:






1. Use spark plug wire remover to remove the ignition wires from the spark plugs.






2. Squeeze the lock tabs to release the ignition wires from the ignition coil.

INSTALLATION






1. Install the ignition wires on the proper ignition coil terminal.






2. Install the ignition wires on the proper spark plugs.
