SPECIAL SERVICE TOOLS RECOMMENDED

CAUTION:
^ Disconnect the battery before removing and installing the CTM.
^ Be careful when probing the instrument panel fuse panel, power distribution box or any connectors. Damage will result to the connector receptacle if the probe or terminal being used is too large.

NOTE:
^ Diagnostic trouble codes will be cleared from the central timer module when the battery is disconnected.
^ If DTCs are recorded and the symptom is not present when performing the pinpoint tests, an intermittent concern may be the cause. Always check for loose connections and corroded terminals.
^ Central timer modules are used on two-wheel drive vehicles not equipped with power windows.
