Digital Transmission Range (DTR) Sensor

DESCRIPTION
- The Digital Transmission Range (DTR) sensor sends a digital output signal to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) indication the position of the manual lever(P, R, N, D, 2, 1).
- The DTR sensor is externally located on the left-center of the transmission case at the manual lever.
- The DTR sensor completes the start circuit in park and neutral. It also completes the back-up lamp circuit in reverse, and the neutral sense circuit (4x4 only) in neutral.

SYMPTOMS:
- Engagement concerns.
- No shifts or wrong gear.
- Increased EPC pressure.
