Pinpoint Test Notes

CAUTION
^ Do not make jumper connections except as directed. Improper connections may damage the Voltage regulator test terminal or fuse/links.
^ Do not allow any metal objects to come in contact with the housing and internal diode cooling fins.

NOTE: With this charging system, four conditions can cause the charge warning indicator to come on during vehicle operation.
1. No generator output: damaged generator rotor or voltage regulator
2. Over-Voltage conditions: shorted generator rotor or voltage regulator.
3. No connection at generator output terminal (B+).
4. No Connection at battery voltage sensing terminal (A terminal).
