Information Bus: Service and Repair

NOTE: If either Circuit 914cr Circuit 915 is repaired or replaced without following proper repair procedures, the operation of the J1850 Communication Network will be degraded.

Communication Circuit Wiring Repair
Circuit 914 and Circuit 915 must be twisted at a rate of 33-40 twists per 1.0 meter (3.3 feet) anytime replacement of either circuit is required. The twist must be within 10 centimeters (4.9 inches) of any connector termination point.

The conductor for Circuit 914 and Circuit 915 must be No. 20 AWG wire.
