Heated Glass Element Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Ground Pin 4 and connect a jumper wire between Pins 2 and 3.
2. Apply B+ to Pin 2. The indicator should not light.
3. Apply B+ to Pin 5. The heated back window symbol on the heated back window switch and light should light up.
4. Momentarily actuate heated back window switch and light to the ON position. The indicator should come on and stay on after heated back window switch and light returns to the normal position.
5. The indicator should go off under any one or more of these conditions:
a. If heated back window switch and light is moved to the OFF position.
b. Jumper wire between Pins 3 and 2 is removed.
c. Approximately 10 minutes have elapsed.
