EGR Control Solenoid: Service and Repair
EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) VENT SOLENOID 1.
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2.
Raise and support the vehicle.
3.
Disconnect the three vacuum hoses.
4.
Disconnect the
EGR vent solenoid electrical connector.
5.
Slide the
EGR vent solenoid off the mounting bracket.
6.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
