CAUTION: The cylinder head must be replaced if the cylinder head height is not within 124.45-124.55 mm (4.8996-4.9035 inches). Do not plane or grind more than 0.15 mm (0.006 inch) from the original head gasket surface. If it is necessary to refinish the head gasket surface, do not grind off more than 0.15 mm (0.006 inch) from the original thickness.








Maximum distortion for the cylinder head is 0.1O mm (0.004 inch). If the cylinder head distortion exceeds specification, grind the cylinder head surface.





Inspect the manifold contact surface distortion in the six directions shown.

Maximum distortion for the manifold contact surface is 0.1O mm (0.004 inch). If the distortion exceeds specification, grind the manifold contact surface or replace the cylinder head as necessary.
