Cruise Control Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Key OFF.
2. Disconnect the speed control actuator switch C286.
3. Measure the resistance between the "BL" wire terminal and the "BK/W" wire terminal at the speed control actuator switch while depressing the following speed control switches:

SWITCH RESISTANCE
ON Greater than 10,000 ohms
OFF Less than 5 ohms
SET ACC Approximately 680 ohms
CST Approximately 120 ohms
RSM Approximately 2200 ohms

4. If the speed control actuator switch is not as specified, replace the speed control actuator switch. Otherwise, return to the Pinpoint Tests. Pinpoint Tests
