Cylinder Head Assembly
DIMENSIONSCheck cylinder head for flatness. Cylinder head and cylinder block cylinder head gasket surface should be flat to 0.08 mm (0.003 inch) over any 152 mm (6 inches) and flat within 0.16 mm (0.006 inch) overall.
TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Install cylinder head bolts in sequence in three steps.
^ Step 1: Tighten to 70 Nm (51 ft. lbs).
^ Step 2: Retighten to 70 Nm (51 ft. lbs).
^ Step 3: Turn all cylinder head bolts an additional 90-100 degrees.
