Vehicle Speed Sensor/Transducer - Cruise Control: Description and Operation
The
Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) is a magnetic pickup, mounted to the transmission, and driven by a gear in the transmission. The VSS sends a signal to the speed control servo proportional to vehicle speed.
