Removal

1. NOTE: When a door lock cylinder must be replaced, replace both the door and ignition locks as a set to avoid carrying an extra key which fits only one lock.

Remove door trim panel and watershield.

2. Remove outside door handle as described.

3. Disconnect anti-theft switch connector from harness and pull out two harness retaining clips from inner door.

4. Remove door lock cylinder retainer retaining door lock cylinder to front door and remove door lock cylinder.
