Intake Manifold: Service Precautions

CAUTION:
- Remove all filings and foreign matter that may have entered the intake manifold as a result of service or damage to engine may occur.
- Check the baffle plates on the underside of the lower intake manifold (if equipped). The baffles should be securely fastened or damage to engine may occur.
- Do not use abrasive grinding discs to remove gasket material; use only plastic manual scrapers. Do not scratch or gouge aluminum sealing surfaces.
