Rear

REMOVAL
1. Remove disc brake rotor.
2. Remove three bolts that retain rear wheel disc brake shield to rear wheel knuckle.
3. Remove rear wheel disc brake shield.

NOTE: RH and LH rear wheel disc brake shields are not interchangeable.

INSTALLATION
1. If rear wheel disc brake shield is bent, straighten or replace it before installation.
2. Position rear wheel disc brake shield on rear wheel knuckle assembly. Install new retaining bolts and tighten to 30-50 Nm (23-36 ft. lbs.).
3. Install removed components.
4. Check for interference between rotor and shield.
5. Lower vehicle and retest brake system.
