Blower Motor Switch: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Remove the climate control assembly.
2. Place blower control knob in LO position and pull the knob off the switch shaft.
3. Remove one screw retaining the heater blower motor switch to the manual A/C control assembly.
4. Rotate heater blower motor switch to disengage locking tab and pull heater blower motor switch away from housing, disengaging the knob.

Installation
1. Position the heater blower motor switch to the manual A/C control assembly. Make sure the heater blower motor switch is correctly rotated into place.
2. Install the screw to attach the heater blower motor switch to the manual A/C control assembly.
3. Place the switch knob on the switch shaft in the LO position and push the knob all the way on.
4. Install the manual A/C control assembly into the instrument panel.
5. Check the system for proper operation.
