Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the electronic door lock control system to duplicate the condition.
2. Inspect to determine if one of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
- Binding latch mechanisms

Electrical
- Open Fuses: Fuse Junction Panel - 12 (10A), 29 (15A), 11 (15A), 37 (20A), 16 (15A), 36 (10A)
- Loose connectors
- Corroded connectors

3. Check for mechanical binds in the door locks. Operate all door locks several times and check lock operation. Also be sure the battery is fully charged.
4. If inspection reveals obvious concern(s) that can be readily identified, service as required.
5. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptom(s) and go to the following Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
