Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the actuating cable from the throttle body cam.







2. Pull the actuating cable through the throttle bracket.







3. Push the retaining clip from the throttle bracket and pull the cable out.







4. Disconnect the air temperature sensor electrical connector.







5. Detach the cable from the securing clip.







6. Disconnect the actuator electrical connector.







7. Remove the actuator retaining bolt.







8. Detach the actuator.
9. Remove the outer cowl top vent panel/screen to allow removal of the actuator from the vehicle.







10. Remove the cable cap from the actuator.
1 Depress and hold the locking clip.
2 Turn the cap counterclockwise.







11. Remove the cable from the actuator pulley.
1 Release the cable locking spring.
2 Push the cable end out of the pulley slot.







INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
